EMERALD BAY KUHN A5 PRODUCES 532 BARRELS OF OIL OVER FIRST 4 DAYS OF PRODUCTION

Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) is pleased to report that the Kuhn A5 well has commenced production and has produced 532 barrels of oil over the first 4 days of production. The well is producing approximately 557 barrels of total fluid per day with a 24% oil cut. The Company is continuing to work toward optimizing the production rate.

Additionally, the Company has moved its Production Resources Inc. (PRI) service rig from the Kuhn A5 well back to Kuhn 3 to complete the acid stimulation and swab testing of Kuhn 3.
